Fort Davis National Historic Site was once a military post operating from 1854 to 1891. The fort was tasked with protecting emigrants, mail coaches, and freight wagons. Now it’s managed by the NPS to give visitors a first-hand look at frontier life in 1800s Texas. At the time of its operation, the fort was heavily used, with many travelers passing through, resupplying, and staying there. Even though it was decommissioned long ago, the original buildings and many historic artifacts remain, rendered here in an original national park illustration by Anderson Design Group has rendered this travel poster in the vintage style of the 20th Century. Available as a poster, framed print, notecard, postcard, metal sign, or canvas, this original poster art would look great on any wall.
